Comments: Marty Smith has a younger brother, Sam Smith, in the SOC Class of '66. Here is a post Sam made on April 2nd regarding Marty's medical issues: "We received a call from my nephew Michael yesterday. My older brother Martin L. Smith ( SOC '63 )was care flighted from Hunt County Regional Hospital in Greenville to Medical City Plano. While in the Greenville hospital, he had a stroke. The surgeon last night said although the surgery went well, we will not know to what extent Marty's stroke has left him paralyzed. He will be in the hospital for a few weeks undergoing rehab therapy. We covet your prayers at this time."
Comments: Arrangements for Jeff Bryant will be at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Located at 1826 W 4708 US 287 Bus. Waxahachie Texas 75165. Friends and family visitation will be Tuesday, April 3rd from 6 to 8. Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 4th at 2 :00 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Blooming Grove Texas.
Comments: Update: Marty is much better and has regained feeling in his arm. Mike thinks his leg will be okay too. So now it is onward and upward for his recovery and rehab. Thank you again for your prayers!

Comments: Another sad day. I saw on Facebook that Jeff Bryant from the Class of ‘62 has passed away.
Comments: How sad that we have lost another. Allen Boggs was smart and funny. May he rest in eternal peace.
Comments: It is with great sadness to tell you, Allen Boggs has passed away November 12, 1917. Allen's sister called Bruce Bonneville and he called me.
Comments: Dear friends, We are getting closer> You know what I mean.Where it rains for 40 days and nights. Start pumping up your life boats.Luckly for me we have a 16 ft glastron made in 1963,a canoe.2 kayaks,numerous float tubes used on the Guadalupe river and I still scuba dive. I also live on a hill but that will be under water. I saw the movie water world so i will also launch my 14 foot sailboat. anyone remember the words to "Let the sunshine in". Many fun times to you all from Paris ,Texas.Dan
Comments: Weldon Wells has been in a rehab facility for several weeks. He will be moved Thursday to Atria Grapevine. It would be great if we could send cards to him and let him know we are praying for him. Comments: I may be way off base here, BUT... I hope the 55th will be casual and informal for a long time one evening without a program or anything so that we can get around to visit with each other. I think that would be great. At 73...I just want to relax and visit. Some of us don't get to go to the gatherings that our class has through the year and it will be the only opportunity to see our classmates.
Comments: Peaches also said that plans are afoot for our 55th reunion this year! Where did the years go? She says it will be informal, so lots of visiting will take place!

Comments: Hi I forget to check in here occasionally. Sharon Reeves, i hope all is well with you. I miss seeng you. And, i really want to see folks this year. I hope plans are in the works for a '63 reunion this year and that you come Sharon. God willing, I'm planning on attending this time.
Comments: Attempting to find Houston Winn (Wynn) would have been a '63 graduate, his sister was Nancy, class of 59 or 60. Family friend from late fifties.

Comments: Peaches - Sorry it took a week to tell you what a great time we had at your Christmas Party!! It was beautiful as always and the company was great. Thank you for opening your beautiful home each year to all your friends and providing us with an avenue to visit and catch up with one another. Good food, good friends and good time!
