Comments: Okay....Bodyshapers....! Charlotte..I would avoid most of them...I like the tank tops.. Please...no girdles...bodyshapers.. If I grow to 300-400 lbs...like half of Memphis, I'll think about it...(those people need the girdle/bodyshapers...) It would spare the rest of us the pain of having to look at them...
Comments: Two words: Larger clothing. ![]()
Comments: One word....Spanx
Comments: What's a girdle...huh..? Do they still make those..?
Comments: Of course that's what I meant, you wackos. ha. I'm looking for a good girdle technician. Actually, foundations are referred to as "garments."
Comments: I couldn't find " Dominique" on the '63 list by the Singing Nuns from Belgium. I had two friends and one was always playing "Ring of Fire" and the other friend was always singing "Walk Right In, Sit Right Down." I think right now I would prefer "Those Lazy, Crazy Days of Summer." Jud, of course Lynell meant bra and girdle foundation repair.
Comments: Lynell, are you talking about bra and girdle service technicians?
Comments: Charlotte, Johnny must be snoozing. Can't blame him. It's hot enough. The foundation repair people must be loving this weather!
Comments: Dirty thirty or.... Filthy Fifty.. Either works..! Lynell likes that 'classy' word...anyway.. I would 'definitely' not want "My Dingaling"...!
Comments: You mean "My Dingaling" is not classy? Like 63 classy? Johnny? Dirty 30? Input please...haaaaaa!
Comments: Valerie, I am so sorry. It has to be terribly hard to lose a brother or a sister.
Comments: Some of those songs are classy..Lynell, but I like Our Day Will Come..that's appropriate...
Comments: Kathleen - my sincere condolences to Valerie. How hard it has to be to lose a younger sibling and her father all within months of each other. My thoughts and prayers for her and the family. Thank you so much Lynell. You are always the best! Cynthia
Comments: My friend Valerie Adamson Bannister had to say goodbye to her youngest brother Roger today. His organs and skin tissue will be donated to three recipients in need. Valerie and her family have had a hard time this year with the loss of her father and now her youngest brother. I hope all of you will pray for her and her family, since as she put it "this has been the hardest period of her life."
Comments: Cynthia, I posted your info on the Events Page. Thank you! Sounds like a fun time with the Class of '65. Martha, I like your suggestion. Prophetic, memorable song -- with a little more class than some of the earlier ideas. www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9xbh5kohE4 Nice organ music in the background, too.
Comments: I have to go with Our Day Will Come by Ruby and the Romantics. I won a $100.00 bet on that song once.
Comments: The SOC Class of 65 is planning their 45th Reunion and would cordially like to invite the classes that attended SOC with us to join in the fun and memories of our high school years. You all were an important part of our life at school so please consider coming for a night or for the full event over Labor Day weekend this year. You may go the www.soc65.com site to obtain details and registration information. We hope many of you will be able to join us but we will need your information and registration soon. If you have any questions, please hit the link at the bottom of the page on the site and a Committee Member would be glad to get back to you.
Comments: Good link, Bill. I'm listening to It's All Right by Curtis Mayfield. I found it somewhere on the internet. We wre young during the heyday of popular music. American Idol? No way.
Comments: Blue on Blue, Blue Velvet, Fools Rush In..Blowing in the Wind..It's My Party.. to name a few... I love the Beach Boys but all they had out that year...was 'surfin' songs..! Thanks...Bill
Comments: Here's a link for the top songs from '63. 1963 Songs
Comments: If we pick a class song, it has to be one from 1963, correct? If that's the case, we need to find out what songs were big hits during the last few months of senior year. I think we might need the Vessels' input on this one. I'm really glad we had great music when we graduated. Can you imagine trying to pick a class song from the '70's or '80's - really gross.
Comments: We need an official class song. Any suggestions other than the three already on the table?
Comments: I think it started a lot...later than 63.
Comments: You guys are hoots. Maybe this class song thing started a lot later than '63.
Comments: Wine Wine Wine.
Comments: Sharon...Seems I remember "My Dingaling".
Comments: "Plastic Jesus on the Dashboard of my Car"
Comments: I have a question. Did we, as a graduating class, have a song? On the way to work this morning, the morning show on KLUV kept talking about the graduation songs their classes had. Some girl called in and said her class song was "You Light Up My Life" and Jody Dean may still be laughing. Obviously, I can't refer to my Den, so someone clue me in, please. Oh, and I hope that van der Sloot kid gets hung this time. Just my opinion!
Comments: I don't want either one of those..procedures... The knee surgery sounds scary....! I hope Medicare will cover it...The Rehab hospital... That's going to be a real pain to go back and forth...Recovery and improvement in a few weeks, or less...I hope.. Happy Friday...everyone.. ![]()
Comments: John, thank you for the medical advice about opting for the root canal instead of the total knee. I hope the insurance works out so that Dru gets her wish about the rehab. Would she put up with renting a wheelchair to get back and forth from the car to the physical therapy office? I think you'd be an excellent pusher. |
