Comments: I feel like such a Ninny!!! Trying to remember Barr's first name, then it came to me it was Brooks Barr. Both Danny and Buzz worked on the Barr's home as they were all friends. Forgive me for the interruption, I just wanted to be sure I put the right names in. Wish there had been a way I could have edited my post, maybe Lynell can do it for me.
Comments: Not Tommy Barr, I believe it was Bruce Barr, he was in your class as well.
Comments: Gary and I were so surprised to hear about Danny Green's passing. We would be there but Gary has a doctor's appointment regarding his surgery and rehab treatment. I know Linda has been through this before with her previous husband Tommy Barr and Danny helped her get through the loss, repairing the house and roof for her. At a time in their lives, Danny told us he fell in love with Linda, so changes were made in their lives. Linda and Danny have been very happy together and she has taken care of him during his heart problems and surgeries. God Bless all the family who loved and loves Danny Green. He will surely be missed with his twinkling eyes and smile.
Comments: Oops! Fat fingers. Peaches , thank you.
Comments: Wow, Pesches, we must have been typing at the same time and you posted first. Thank you for the info. You always keep us informed.

Comments: It's so sad to hear about Danny, who lit up so many lives with his little flashlights and his sweet personality. May Danny rest in peace and may those who loved him find comfort in memories.
Comments: I just read on FB that Danny Green had passed away. I'm sure Peaches will let you know the details on here. Sad times. We're losing our peers.
Comments: I'm just now catching up with all of this news. Sharon, how is Steve now? And keep us posted about your family around Canton. Good news about Gary and his shoulder. I had rotator surgery problems for years ago and before was very very painful. So I know he is relieved. AND, great News about the "peach man" !! Haven't heard about him in a while. Danny has my prayers. I pray for his comfort and strength for his wife as they go through this sad time. All is well with me. I'm having an elevator installed in our Houston townhouse so that we can stay put in this 3 story house for a long time. fortunately, we had a place for the shaft. WHAT A MESS

Comments: It is so sad that Danny is suffering in this way, he looked so frail at our 70th Birthday Reunion, I was concerned then. I pray that God won't let him suffer and he will give his wife the strength to deal with this. God Bless them both!
Comments: Danny was at all of our events till he got too sick to come. He misses us. I just found out he and Linda go to Dr. Dan Griffin's church and I know they are ministering to them. Dan was my pastor for many years.
Comments: It is with GREAT sadness I am sending you Linda Green's note about our SOC 63 classmate, Danny Green. Hello Peaches I wanted to let you know that Danny is not well at all. He is not able to get up out of bed , he is not able to eat anything if it is not at least as thin as putting. He is not able to speak very well. Most of the time his speech is moaning and mumbles. From time to time you can understand some words. I do not know how long he will last in this physical state. I do have him at home. You and I both know Danny well enough to know that he would like his SOC family to know about his condition. And we both thank you and everybody else for the continued prayers
Comments: Thanks, Tanya, for letting us know. Prayers will continue for his complete healing. Give him our love.
Comments: Just letting the class know that Gary did great through his right shoulder replacement and has suffered absolutely no or little pain since his surgery. He said the pain before was worse that after the surgery. He is doing his rehab daily and his exercises on schedule. Said if he had known it would have removed his pain like this, he would have done it sooner. Thank you for your prayers, he appreciates his classmates.
Comments: Sorry, I misunderstood. Ron, you do have a good looking son. Was great meeting him.
Comments: Ron, you have a very good looking son!
Comments: Sharon, it was listed on Facebook that Bob Clifton's peach orchard is fine and he did not suffer any damage from the storm.
Comments: Peaches, that was my son that you and Sharon met..both my brothers have passed on..
Comments: Does anyone know if Bob ? our peach guy outside of Canton is okay? His orchard is on Hwy 19 and I think that's where the tornado crossed I-20.
Comments: Hey, Larry. All the Peden families in and around Canton are all fine. Don't know about the Reeves clan yet. But several cousins live directly in the area of Myrtle Springs which I know suffered a lot of damage. I'm hoping to learn more later. The woman who takes care of my mom during the day was actually on I-20 just a couple of miles from Canton and she and her husband watched the tornado cross I-20. They have a house on Lake Fork and fortunately the house is fine but the debris will take a long time to clean up. They were very lucky.
Comments: I was wondering if Sharon Reeves relatives in the Canton area are okay?
Comments: Ron, the viewing was yesterday. Sharon Reeves and I went. I met your brother. The services is today for family only.
Comments: I believe Elaine's viewing is tomorrow and the funeral is Monday...somebody may want to check this out..I could be wrong..
Comments: Our Elaine Amos Gentry, SOC Class of 63 passed away Monday night. She had battled cancer for a few years. The viewing is Sunday, May 7 from 2 pm - 5 pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home. The funeral is Monday for family only. Please try to go if you can to show her girls how much she was loved by her classmates.
Comments: I just received a text from Sharon Casey that Elaine Amos passed away last night. She has fought cancer for a few years now. Sharon said her daughters are coming to Dallas tomorrow to make arrangements. She will let me know details. I am just so sad once again. Live each day to the fullest.
Comments: I just finished reading Buzzy's book, Crew Chief. It's really very good. It's -- primarily -- about his Air Force service during Viet Nam, maintaining fighter/bomber aircraft. I'm going to send it to my younger Grandson, Triston, who's on active duty in the Air Force, working on ejection systems in the Stealth Bomber.
Comments: Thanks for asking Charlotte. He was released last Friday afternoon and was home through Monday, when I had him readmitted. So he is back in the hospital, but doing better. He has some kind of stomach infection that they just can't get under control. I'm sure it has something to do with the emergency stomach surgery he had last July. But, at least, yesterday he was up and walking with a walker, so his strength is coming back a little. I told him he could not come home until he could walk on his own!
