Comments: Ouida will be missed and bless David ; prayers for him and other family members. I last saw them at reunion before last. We stayed up in their room until 3am just talking.
Comments: Ouida Hoyle Rose had a passion for animals and especially rescue animals. She was very much involved with this effort. In lieu of flowers/plants, the family has requested donations to Brazos River Rescue Ranch, P. O. Box 93, Kopperl, TX 76652. Put her name on the check so the family will know of your donation in her honor. Ouida was very dedicated to her class of 63 and was always there to do anything it took to have our fantastic reunions. Like so many others that were dedicated and now in a better place, she will be truly missed but never never forgotten.
Comments: Her everyone I’m still in shock over the sudden loss of my dear friend Ouida Hoyle Rose. I sent many photos to her son, Ken, to select from for a video the funeral home is preparing for her memorial on the 26th. I know some of you are planning to attend even tho it’s not convenient in Cleburne TX. But thank you so much in advance for making the effort. Her son Ken , Grand daughter, Sevannah and her dear friend and companion David Splawn will appreciate it so much. I would love to hear her voice just one more time. She was one of a kind and I’ve loved her since 1951. May she Rest In Peace.
Comments: After 20+ years I finally did it-got my right knee replaced on Monday. It is doing fine and I hope to get outside this afternoon.
Comments: OMG, I can't believe that Ouida has passed away! I am so grateful I was able to see her at our 55th Reunion in October. God Bless Her!
Comments: It is with great sadness I have to inform you our Ouida Hoyle Rose passed away Saturday, January 5 due to congestive heart failure. Comments: Wow, Dan Shellito, that is some wonderful news! I’ve heard great things from others about that hospital. Congratulations on the new body part. ❤️

Comments: I, for one, am not familiar with Celi's story? Just what is going on with her ... and who is Erik?
Comments: Buzz, I’m sure your calls to Celi have been encouraging for her. I hope she finds a comfortable place soon. This is sad to hear.
Comments: Peaches, please ive an update on Rodger. Thanks
Comments: Hello everyone. As you may know, Shalene Houghtaling’s house burned last year so quickly to the ground. She Lost everything. She has requested a copy of our last Den. I sent her pics of our 55th party and she wants to identify folks. If anyone has a an extra please let me know. Thanks
Comments: Happy Veterans Day to all of the Vets out there! Thank you for your service. And solemn thanks and remembrance for those who didn't make it back safely. We salute you.
Comments: I talked to Celi Lowrance on the phone yesterday. We've been talking three weeks, but here's what's going on now. Yesterday was a good call. I gave her all the information I had gathered. She was aware of everything! She was one step ahead of me! She said she felt she needed assisted living, and was applying for Medicaid, to go into a nursing home! That's very hard, but she was working on that. Erik still isn't speaking to her, and she doesn't know how much longer he will let her stay where she is. The option for that is HUD housing, and she was going to call them! Both are the only options she has, realizes that, and is applying for both. She sounded good! Her address is: Celi Hamilton, 1106 Van Buren, Apt. A, Wichita Falls, Tx, 76301. 469 258-8086. She said she gets her mail. Sara and I are going to send a care package.
Comments: Rodger will have a couple more tests and do respiratory rehab for about 12 weeks. He will also do a sleep study. There is a good possibility he will be able to get off oxygen. He is in fairly good spirits. He would appreciate any calls or cards you wish to send. |
