Comments: How sad to learn that sweet Morris Ann (Marci) Hawkins Crites has passed away. By her request, there are no funeral plans.
Comments: I attended the Summer Luncheon yesterday at Peaches house. The food, company and conversations were great! Thank you for inviting me and I really enjoyed it. Thanks to Peaches and all the hostesses who obviously worked very hard making so many sandwiches and desserts. Delicious!! I always enjoy the lunch bunch crowd!

Comments: Thanks, Charlotte for your post. Yes, please get your reservations in as soon as possible. I know there will be lots of us coming, but so far only a hand full have responded. I need to know a more accurate count to reserve an adequate room for us. This Reunion will have lots of time to visit with each other as there is no program.
Comments: Sorry to here of everyones losses.Fortunately mine are the results of getting a little older. My dad was stationed in Jacksonville,fla from 1059 thru 1962, I spent my years there in the scouts,foootball,swim team and alot of water skiing. I hated leaving there so when we got back to Texas I just studied an never really got into the Jr and Senior activities. I still skied every weekend at lake Tawakani. I lost out in meeting all my old a possible new friends at Soc. Had a great life and im looking forward to the 55 th reunion. Got a trip to the keys where my youngest son lives. I still love to scuba dive and will be diving there and on a cruise in July. Stay healthy my friends.We are well in Paris,tx

I’m sad for the news of those recently gone includng teachers. But, happy and excited to see the ones coming to our reunion. We’re happy to keep this guest book going and will continue if at all possible. Thank you for keeping the reunions going.

Comments: Dear Socites, just posting a sad event for one of our classmates. Brenda Brown Kemp's son Rick James, passed away last week from an accidental overdose. For Brenda this is very hard, her only son. She had called him for two days without answer and decided to drive over to see if he was ok. She was the one who found him passed away on his sofa. This was extremely hard for her and all this put her in the hospital as she thought she was having a heart attack after finding Rick that way. Tests were cleared for her, but the doctor said had broken heart syndrome that can affect the heart the same way, but her heart is good he said. She has had Rick cremated, there will be no service. His children Nickki and Halston will have him buried with his father Pete James at a lake that they all loved fishing together. Please pray for Brenda and the kids, send her cards as she is devasted at this time. She needs our prayers and love. God Bless. Her address is: 3113 Normandy, Sherman, Texas. |
