Comments: Well.....it's white, now.. After watching Dan Brown's Angels and Demons...twice, I pay more attention to their Conclave.. Not really impressed either way. If they had a 'bunch of drama' like the movie, I guess I would be more impressed. It's an Argentinian and a Jesuit, this time. Haven't heard his age, yet.. I'll watch the 5:30 news and the PBS Hour..they'll tell us.. I'll be more impressed if..they start ordaining 'women'.. That will be a 'snowy day in July'...when the Catholics and the Southern Baptists..do that..! Ha-a-a-a..!

Comments: Peaches, I did a computer search and found that Laura gave her email address on here as laurakay12@gmail.com. Her husband's name is Ron Schmidt, and she said she worked at Macy's. I hope this helps.
Comments: I have been updating our lists of classmates. I ran across the post from Laura Chovanetz Schmidt in August of 2010. Lynell, did you or anyone get an email or contact information from her? I would love to talk to her. Better yet, get her to our reunion. We remember you Laura. Come join us. I remember our days at Zumwalt well. I know there are probably others out there that have moved and i do not know. Several of you have emailed your new information and I really appreciate it. We work hard to keep our list as up to date as possible!

Comments: Charlotte, you're right! After an hour with this iPad, I am smitten! I may have scared the UPS man. This is just the coolest new toy. I have signed up for iPad class at the Apple store. Hope it's iPad For Dummies.
Comments: Lynell, you will love your new iPad! The best part about it is that you can dictate your emails and anything else you need to write like your calendar or notes. Of course, my writing skills and typing skills are going downhill!!! I was a BlackBerry person, but bought the new iPhone. I didn't like typing on that tiny little screen And thought I had made a big mistake Until I discovered I can dictate As I am doing now. Sometimes if I pause, As you see, it adds a capital letter, but I'm getting used to that. Usually I go back and correct it but I'm not this time so that you can see what I'm talking about. All of those capitals you see is where I paused before continuing speaking. Okay,the mention of reunion made me hire a personal trainer to get in shape.... What kind of shape is yet to be determined...hahahahaha!

Comments: Richard, how nice to see you here!  Ken, you are right, my fellow LRS. I, too, was a hall monitor, which proved I was on the right side of the law and was totally against skipping steps on the stairway. I was unsure what to do if someone ever skipped a step under my steely gaze, but it never happened. The power of the badge!  Michael Collins, leave it to one of you slick '64 boys to pick up on my unfortunate syntax.
