Comments: I take it he was not declared a Saint as the last Pope is about to be. ahem!
Comments: On further examination, there was a Felix II who served as Pope for a short time before being run out of town. He was later referred to as Antipope Felix II.
Comments: Don't forget Felix Ungar. I'm sure he didn't eat cats. But I wouldn't have put it past his roomie, Oscar Madison.
Comments: Felix I, III and IV were saints back in the 3rd, 5th and 6th centuries. No mention of Felix II. I don't think any of them ate cats.
Comments: We'll have a choice of enchiladas: cheese, beef, chicken or CAT! Maybe we should make a last minute change to Burger King.
Comments: That settles it. I'm officially changing the name of our house from Smith Manor to El Felix.
Comments: Felix the Cat is a restaurant?
Comments: No, I think it's La Cucaracha.
Comments: I think both Jack & JS are wrong! The restaurant is El Fenix not El Felix!
Comments: John, I think you are thinking of El Felix.
Comments: John, of course there's room for your metal detecting equipment. Let Dru drive, and you sit with your legs scrunched up in the passenger seat. There's sure to be treasure in Big D. David and I are looking forward to seeing you two. Please bring warm weather.
Comments: FYI - Dru and I are planning to be in Dallas for the Saturday "event". It's been 30+ years since I ate at El Felix. Isn't that Spanish for "the cat"? Trying to decide if there's room for my metal detector and geocaching equipment?
Comments: Jud, probably!! haaaaaaaa!! But, me too! Ditto on the Cat Woman comment!
Comments: Catwoman, you'll always be special to us! This year is off to a rousing start, both personally and professionally. I'm sure I'm doing better than I deserve.
Comments: Drat! I meant to post here on 1-11-11 at 1:11 p.m. Darn that Spider Solitaire. I got distracted.
Comments: Thank you, Charlotte. Well, b-day's over. I'm back to being not special again. How's everybody's year going so far?
Comments: Happy, Happy Birthday Dear Web Mistress, Lynell. Thank you for keeping us in touch with one another!

Comments: Please forgive me for misspelling your name, Lynell; my senior moments are starting to stretch out into senior hours. My bad.
Comments: I can't top Peaches for graphics, but Happy Birthday, Lenell. Thank you for all you do to help us stay connected.
Comments: Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, happy birthday Dear Lynell Smith, Happy birthday to you!!!!!!! And many many more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comments: Happy Birthday Lynell. So glad you could be at home to enjoy the "wonderful" weather today for your Birthday. Did I pick up that JS was picking up dinner for you tonight since he gave you the night off from cooking?
Comments: Well, Jud stole all my lines - So Happy B-day to my fellow webmistress, may you have a great day!! Happy B-day Lynell!
Comments: Lynell, may your day be filled with chocolates, good wine, and a visit from Rod Stewart. Happy Birthday!
Comments: Happy Birthday, Lynell. Thanks for all you do!
Comments: Birthday Greetings to Lynell G. Smith. Tell David I said you can knock off the house cleaning at 4:45 today and you ain't cookin' dinner tonight.
Comments: It's snowing hard in NE Dallas! The streets are clear and the huge snowflakes are pretty. This is the best of both worlds.
Comments: Did Terry did withdrawal from not being able to ride a horse?
Comments: Just back from Antarctica.(Colorado)..we endured -18 degrees while there! Brrrrrrrrrr! But, so beautiful. The snow drifts were 5 to 6 feet high and the trees were heavy with snow...beeeeuuutiful! While outside on a wonderful deck, we watched the skiers come down the mountain with torches on New Year's Eve. We had warmers in our pockets. It was -13...Whoa! I needed warmers in other places for sure. The torches were a beautiful sight, but I think we can skip it next year! Hope all of you are well and happy!
Comments: I feel like I grew up with Jimmy and Donna. I spent a lot of time at my cousins, the Willards and the Darnells and Jimmy and Donna lived right between them. I always had a crush on Donna, but being the smart girl she was, she never returned the favor. After my first marriage of 7 years, I tracked her down and finally got her to agree to go out with me. We went to play tennis at her suggestion and had a great time. When we got back to her house, she thanked me for a fun evening, said she had to get up early and left me in the driveway. Darn! So much for short-term romances. |
