Here's a picture I took this morning from my front porch -- coffee in one hand, camera in the other, big fuzzy houseshoes on my feet.  Maybe the better picture would have been of ME.

Nothing special to share. I just wanted to post a smiley for Southworth.

Lets remember that all we post here is on the INTERNET (a sometimes scary place) and is open to all who want to read here.  I rarely visit other guest books because of time, but the other guest books are what they are.  Of course, I think ours is special.  As long as the poster signs first and last name and owns what he or she posts, then post it. Whether one is being LOUDLY reminded to be kinder to others(seems I remember that one well...ha!) or just posting happenings.  We are not talking in private but to the world. 

Thanks again Lynell for this new GB...It seems MUCH easier to use than FB..........whoa!  I need a course "FB for Dummies"

Thank you for the opportunity to post on your new guest book.  I may be a bit slow, but I'm having a hard time understanding why some folks find it necessary to be  condescending and critical of other schools and other classes who make an effort to stay connected...The reference to the Adamson class as being "brain dead" and the SOC '62 class being referenced as "the Golden Grouches"...thanks John...not funny.  Even our own self-proclaimed "ambassador" comes over here with an heir of superiority toward his own classmates and makes negative comments under the guise of humor.  Is that the calling of a true ambassador?  I like this class and I love Mary Kay, my little Deb sister.  What I don't like is people who pretend to be "good" while talkin' trash as if they are funny.  For those who want to say I have lost my sense of humor...that is not the case...these things are not funny, nor are they nice.  Thanks again for your time!

I'm happy to see this guest book perking along nicely.  I think we're going to like it more than the one that just dumped us so ungraciously.  Sandy SNL Lynn from '66 is advising me on some of the intricacies, so please bear with me during this learning curve.
 
Mr.  Southworth, if you don't like the  faces here, you're probably going to be real unhappy when you see the one I painted on your Miata. 
 
Our class is fortunate to have hung together all these years.  I will always believe that we grew up in a special place and time. 

I hope everyone will continue to chime in and support this and other guest books -- including the great one that Ronnie Jones has created for our friends on the other side of Illinois who went to Adamson.  Brain dead they are NOT.

Cousin Johnny, all these faces jumping around makes me feel like Pacman is about to chew up the screen.  So, for politics, news, religion and family bickering, continue to quietly slip over to SOC '62, where everyone is welcome.  Well not everyone it seems.  I know you've had issues, and poor Kathleen and Steve from the Great Northwest, and Tommy and a few others, but it was just a momentary mood that they got over.  PLEASE LET ME POINT OUT, HOWEVER, THAT THIS IS HUMOR.  IT'LL SAVE THE NEED TO REPRINT IT ON SOC '62.

Lynell, please forgive me!!  I typed your name incorrectly!   I just hung up t/w a client named Lynette, well . . .  you see what happened!    Lynell, Leftnell or whatever... you did good girl.   Always enjoy reading the '63 GB.

Great job Lynell (does Lynell mean "works well under pressure"?). Thank you for all the time you put into keeping us in touch with each other and for making us sign our full names.  I think this is the best of all the SOC guest books.  Guess they won't invite me to join the Class of "66 now.

Congratulations Lynette on getting a new GB up so quickly.   Give her time Ginger, this GB has all kinds of bells & whistles & she can add color & trim!  But I don't think the GB's "Dear John" letter gave her much time!    Ya'll will love this one as it allows you to express yourself!!

Kathleen, congratulations on being the first person to discover the new guestbook!  I think you should win a prize from, oh, say, the gift closet of John Southworth!
