Well, after 21 years at the same job, I'm going part-time starting next week.  I'm glad to still be working some since the money will help, but I am sure looking forward to some shorter days.

Hope the new year is treating everyone great so far.

Wow, Dan Shellito, that is some wonderful news! I’ve heard great things from others about that hospital. Congratulations on the new body part. ❤️

I was responsible for Nancy and myself not showing up for Peaches holiday feast. We were both looking forwaRd to the luncheon. That being said,I got a heart just 5 weeks ago, 3 by passes and a valve.
I couldn't be doing better.Baylor heart
hospital in Plano was fantastic.
Doc said I could resume mountains climbing, bull riding, and sky diving in 6 months.
Happy New year everyone!

Merry Christmas !!!  Sorry we missed the party at Peaches again this year.   I retired on 12/14/18 after 19 years as a hospital insurance negotiator representing WC, auto and group health companies.  Looking forward to having fun in retirement.  Hope to see you at the next event.

We had a fantastic time! We had 53 rsvp and 42 came. Lots of great salads (we outdid ourselves) and lots and lots of home made goodies were brought. Everyone is always so excited to eat and visit and start Christmas out right....celebrating our Lord and Savior's birthday and celebrating friendships.

Merry Christmas to all my SOC buddies!!!!!

I am so sorry that I couldn't attend the party Sunday, but I was trying to get my house together for my mom's 100th birthday yesterday.  She got birthday cards from about 40 of her nieces and nephews (who are as old or older than we are).  My brother and sister and their spouses came over and we had a great afternoon.

I know the party was a success as usual.  Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I, for one, am not familiar with Celi's story? Just what is going on with her ... and who is Erik?

I talked to Celi Lowrance on the phone yesterday. We've been talking three weeks, but here's what's going on now. Yesterday was a good call. I gave her all the information I had gathered. She was aware of everything! She was one step ahead of me! She said she felt she needed assisted living, and was applying for Medicaid, to go into a nursing home! That's very hard, but she was working on that. Erik still isn't speaking to her, and she doesn't know how much longer he will let her stay where she is. The option for that is HUD housing, and she was going to call them! Both are the only options she has, realizes that, and is applying for both. She sounded good! Her address is: Celi Hamilton, 1106 Van Buren, Apt. A, Wichita Falls, Tx, 76301. 469 258-8086. She said she gets her mail. Sara and I are going to send a care package.

Rodger will have a couple more tests and do respiratory rehab for about 12 weeks. He will also do a sleep study. There is a good possibility he will be able to get off oxygen. He is in fairly good spirits. He would appreciate any calls or cards you wish to send.
