Comments: Barry, what a great website. I especially liked looking at all those bygone restaurant ads. We certainly grew up in a wonderful era. Too bad most of us didn't have any money!

Comments: Danny, Our prayers are with you and your family each day. If there's anything we can do please call.
Comments: Thank all of you wonderful people for your prayers & concern. I have been at the Hospital most of the time. My mother & Sister in law are recovering & will soon be moved to rehab facilities. Thanks to the Seat Belts, Reinforced Doors & Side Air Bags on the car, my mother & sister in law are both still alive...... with a hopeful full long time recovery. The drunk driver hit the drivers' side door of my brother's car, at approximately 70 mph. My prayers are with my step brother, Bill Coplin 76, Thelma Coplin sister in law, Lura Green, my mother, 97 & the Driver of the other vehicle ( he was not injured). Linda & I assisted my family until the Paramedics arrived. Again, Thank You All & Thank You, Lord, Jesus. ( in all things, give thanks to the Lord)
Comments: We've been on twice a week watering restrictions in Southlake for about a month. All we got yesterday was thunder and dust both at home and at work in Dallas. I drove through heavy rain coming to work this morning on I635 between Coppell and Irving. Still nothing at home or work. It's sad to see all the trees and shrubs dying. When I drive to Port O'Connor for the weekend, it's the same everywhere-everything is brown and most of the ponds and stock tanks are dried up.
Comments: Leave it to JS to try to add a little humor to the day. It was nice to see something happy in the midst of all the sad news relating to our extended SOC family. JS, do you have one on order? How much is the helium? It is a cute video-made me smile. Thanks
Comments: Prayers for the families of Ginger and Danny during these hard times. On a little brighter note, just endured 30 minutes of thunder, lightening, and heavy rain. We just started twice a week water restrictions, so the timing was perfect. Me happy boy!
Comments: I think Lonnie Harmon sent this to me, but something about this catchy new toy just brings a smile to my face: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8haI2VnFtw
Comments: I love the sound of thunder! I am praying for rain for Texas! Our 2 ponds are gone now. The pastures are all brown and have been all summer...we have to buy hay this year too. Scary! I hope this drought breaks soon. Ginger, you are right. We are not in charge. I hope your mother is comfortable and content. Betty is a saint!
Comments: Ginger, it's good to hear that Mrs. Hearn is doing better.
Comments: What a lovely little shower in NE Dallas this afternoon. I think it's even a bit cooler outside. The wind blew hard and we even had some thunder!
Comments: Dorothy Hearn is better today and they're feeding her solid/pureed food.. She may improve enough to eventually go back to the nursing home, but we are certainly not in charge.... we just offer up our prayers for her. Betty Gibbs was going back for a visit today.. Ginger ![]()

Comments: Milo and I wish to express our sympathy to Danny and family at this difficult time. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Comments: What horrible thing for the Green an Hearn family to go through. May God bless them at this time with peace and a reminder of His promises for a future with Him. My heartfelt condolences to you all.
Comments: Danny, Ginger and all you other SOCites that are going through hard times, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. This has been a bad week. One of my best friends, Creighton Cardwell, had quintuple bypass surgery on Thursday. We used to go on long bicycle rides and he is a picture of health. Probably heredity, but he is adopted and doesn't know anything about his family. He's 58! Good news is that he caught it in time. His doctor told him that a heart attach was "eminent" without the surgery. So, this is enough bad news for now. OK?
Comments: Ginger and Danny, my prayers are with you and your families.
Comments: Our heartfelt condolences are sent to the Green family in the tragic loss of Danny's brother and the injuries sustained by his mom and sister-in-law. Also, to Ginger Hearn for her mom suffering with that dreadful disease of Alzheimer's. God Bless the families during their time of need.
Comments: My thoughts and prayers are going out to both the Hearn and Green families. May God give you peace and comfort in the days ahead.
Comments: As of yesterday, my uncle, Paul Hopson has reported that Dorothy Hearn is improved. Betty Gibbs saw improvement in her vital signs. She can communicate through 'jibber-jabber', no real words any more. Through head movements and hand movements.. Lots of prayer out there.... Sorry about Danny's brother and his mom's injuries.. My mother is 87. We are compiling a 'file' of information, stories, facts, etc. on Dorothy Hearn. She did many, many things in her life, which she can no longer do or remember doing.. If you have any memories..you might email me and I'll send them on to Sonny, Paul Hopson for future use.. She use to sing as a solo..."I don't Know About Tomorrow, I Just Live From Day to Day".. This is true... We don't know.. I have an Adamson Leopardette picture on my FB thanks to Danny Smith..Kimball HS.. Fran Hearn is on the right.. We're still compiling information on her and also obtaining Hopson furniture and Fran's jewelry from another branch of the Hopson family and the Gatesville Funeral Home.. Fran was Bi-Polar...and this whole process has been complicated and difficult... Prayers for Danny.... I'm very thankful for the internet...
Comments: Danny, I hope your ninety-seven year old mother's health improves. My condolences to you and your family regarding your brother. I will pray for you and your mother.
