Comments: I am truly starting to feel old. I just got through at the Social Security Administration office where I signed up for Medicare Plan A. I will never have enough money to retire, so I just hope my employer keeps on going. Also, one of my all-time favorite movies, "The Magnificent Seven", is 50 years old. Geez.
Comments: Charles, thank you for posting on the SOC 63 site. Now, please post again and tell us your whole name. One rule here: Sign your name. Thanks, and I hope you understand.
Comments: HELLO everyone, I post here only once in a while but thought someone here had a birthday today. This is my daughters B-DAY and Peaches' also. To be PC because I am on the SOC 63 site...It is PEACHES' birthday and also my daughters. Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to both! It is reassuring to see you "younger" folks try to stay up with the news of the day. Thanks for paying attention..whatever side you take. As for me, I am a Christian conservative who voted first for LBJ then Carter. Okay, Okay, that was during my "stupid dope smokin days"! After my brain cleared and I gave up roll-your-own, strobe-lites, disco, body-art(THAT was fun(
Comments: If you would like to join many Americans simply supporting our troops this 4th of July weekend, go to this website http://www.TroopAThon.org. The TroopAThon telethon will be live in about 10 minutes and will go until midnight, and will be a great tribute to our troops.
Comments: Peaches: I didn't realize that you and my brother were both born on July 1st! I called him this morning and now I want to wish you the best on YOUR day. Sorry, no political statement this time.....................but, I'm working on it.
Comments: Happy Birthday Peaches. May you know joy and peace today and health in the year ahead with God's blessings always.
Comments: Bill, I doubt so much that I turned the volume off. Anything "worthwhile" will be discussed by real news shows, and the main stream will just tell you how wonderful it was that he explained why he won't enforce existing law...... Employment note: If you're gay (not you Bill, I'm just making a generic point), and considering employment with Google, they're going to start paying more to gays and lesbians to offset some tax advantages that straight couples have.....Lots of comments come to mind, but I'll just report the news.
Comments: Bill, you are wise to doubt anything he says...he says what he thinks liberals, or anyone for that matter, wants to hear...even if it isn't true...truth is an unknown concept in his world. I doubt every word that comes out of his mouth! And justifiably so!
Comments: All valid points JS about the congressman. You stated correctly, "How does someone who seems so out of touch with reality ['our borders are quite secure']. I'm watching a live telecast of President Obama talking about immigration reform (his idea is amnesty) and he just said that our borders are more secure now than at any time during the past 20 years. I have my doubts!
Comments: Happy Birthday, Peaches. Hope you have a wonderful day.
Comments: Bill, that was a fascinating video on Congressman Pete Stark (Dem. - Calif.). How does someone who seems so out of touch with reality ["our borders are quite secure"], keep getting re-elected? His is a peculiar story - he represents California but lives in Maryland? Martha, if we look at the history of his prior elections it looks to me like he will easily win another term. Since 1998 he has been re-elected over and over by margins of over 70%. I'm not sure what this says about his district constituents? On another important topic, let me join the others in wishing a most enjoyable birthday to our Peaches.
Comments: Jud: Nobody nominated me. I guess that checking that box on my tax return about contributing to the fund, just didn't get my name high enough on the list. Happy Birthday, Peaches.

Happy Birthday, Peaches!
Today, whatever Lola wants, Lola gets!
Comments: Amen, Bill! Unfortunately the trend is that our elected representatives do not represent the people. At all levels, and both parties!
Comments: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PEACHES!!!!!!!! Wishing you a beautiful day and many more birthday celebrations! Love ya, MK
Comments: My guess is he will not get re-elected but he is in there now. It is sad to think a representative would treat his constituents with such disrespect.
Comments: Did anyone else see this on the news? How can a member of Congress speak/mock the folks from his district like this? How does he continue to be reelected? Someone probably won't like me saying this, but this guy is an absolute JERK! Click here
Comments: Happy Birthday Peaches....Did you know on your birthday in 1963 the Zip Code system began? Hope you have a wonderful day!
Comments: Happy Birthday, Peaches!!
Comments: Happy Birthday Peaches. And thanks for sending your friends Howard and Bob to the orchard. We had a good visit and talked, of course, about you.
Comments: Happy Birthday, Peaches!
Comments: It is 1:30 am July 1st and I want to be the first to wish my dear friend Peaches a Very Happy Birthday...We love you!!
Comments: Michael C., what brings you to Houston? Be careful on Allen Parkway - that's where famed attorney John O'Quinn died last fall (doing over 75 mph on a rainy day). In certain circles he was more famous than Judge Judy.
Comments: We've been busy since getting to Houston...not too hot...not too wet yet...enjoy reading the guestbook waiting for the Allen Parkway fireworks...hmmm Fireworks, Guestbook... Judge Judy?? I guess I can come out of the Judge Judy closet...Yeah John every chance I get...watching the wheels fly off of the partipicipants, it's almost as good as Americas Funnest Videos.
Comments: Ginger, I'm happy as a clam...so sorry you are so angry and bitter. Your negativity is coming from within! Peace, child!
Comments: Yes, Adolph, Bill. Name ring a bell...? I have found my 'happy place'. You, Claudia, interject negative energy into my happy place, but it's not just me.. Claudia.. I find no Joy, no Peace, within You..but I surely wish you would find it... and leave us alone..
Comments: Someone needs to find their happy place...
Comments: John, I insist that you stop laughing at us this instant! It's not too late to change my will.
Comments: For the record, no one has been asked to not post on SOC '62. That's just incorrect information.
Comments: Adolph? Really! |
