I can still sing the whole...Davy Crockett Song..A few weeks ago someone I know sang Daniel Boone's Song..I don't remember much about that one..I loved Davy Crockett...the TV Show. There's enough named after Davy in Tx and Tn...we won't forget him..

In case you guys haven't heard, Davy Crockett died today..Fess Parker died from natural causes at age 85..he was one of the heroes of my youth..had a coon skin cap, Davy Crockett coloring books, and other things that escape my memory..one of my teachers from David Crockett Elementary School gave all us kids a memeographed copy of "The Ballad of Davy Crockett"..carried it for years..its gonna be hard knowing Davy ain't out there somewhere..so long Davy!!!

Thank you to all the Happy Bday wishers.  I tried not to have this birthday, but no one would let me forget it!!!!!!  Ouida even came to visit me for my bday.  This is one of those years that I want to use Sara's strategy and go backwards...56?  sigh!  I received my  Medicare card today...Oh what a bummer that was!  haaaaaaaa!!

Haven't had internet in about a month sooo...Happy belated birthday to Charlotte and to Rhonda.  Charlotte I am jealous...you get to look at beautiful eagles...seems the only thing I see are buzzards...cicle my house on a regular basis...makes me nervous...I think they know something that I don't know!!

Birthdays:...There sure are a lot of birthdays in March...!  What happened 9 months before that?  Well, don't answer that.. Scorpios were conceived around Valentine's Day..  Wasn't D-Day in June of 1944?? Maybe a bunch of those soldiers came home. Hello Martha, no I was not in the choir at Fernwood Baptist Church.  Actually, hadn't sung in a choir until the last few years since high school.  I was either playing the piano or organ since I left Fernwood.
